Using High Polling Rate Causes my Mouse Cursor / Game to Become Laggy - What Can I Do?Updated 8 hours ago
The WALLHACK M-001 is a high-performance wireless gaming mouse designed to support true 8000 Hz polling rate operation. The mouse also features adjustable polling rate configuration in 500 Hz increments, allowing users to fine-tune performance and system compatibility based on their hardware configuration and game support.
These intermediate polling rate steps are intentionally implemented to provide greater flexibility on systems where full 8000 Hz operation may not be fully supported or optimal. In some cases, CPU limitations, game engine behavior, USB controller performance, or operating system overhead may reduce stability at extremely high polling rates.
If system instability, stuttering, frame pacing issues, cursor skipping, or inconsistent performance is observed at higher polling rates, it is recommended to lower the polling rate to 1000 Hz through the WALLHACK software and gradually increase the value in 500 Hz increments until the highest stable and compatible setting is identified for the system. For example, some systems may operate optimally at values such as 2000 Hz, 3500 Hz, or 4000 Hz depending on hardware and software conditions.
Please note that some games, particularly older titles or games built on legacy engines, may not properly support polling rates above 1000 Hz. In these situations, using excessively high polling rates may result in unintended behavior including stuttering, frame loss, inconsistent mouse movement, cursor skipping, or reduced overall game stability.
