My pad doesn't seem flat — is it warped?Updated 15 days ago
If your mousepad rocks, tilts, or leaves a visible gap between the pad and the surface it is placed on, the pad may not be entirely flat. This is often called a “warp”. A warp can vary in severity, and it can affect how the pad performs.
Troubleshooting:
First, place your pad on a different surface from your desk. The new surface should be completely flat, for example, the floor. You can try several surfaces to be sure. With the pad on the new surface, check whether it sits flat, or whether it still lifts off the surface.
This will help confirm whether the pad itself is warped, or whether your playing surface is not entirely flat.
What to do:
A warp in a glass mousepad is considered a fault with the item, so we need to know about the issue as soon as possible. Warping or a change in flatness cannot develop over time, and it cannot be reversed.
As well as the check we recommend above, we need more evidence to help you. Please complete one of the following:
- If you have another WALLHACK glass mousepad, compare the surface of the pads together. Do they differ from each other?
- Press your finger into each corner of the pad when it is resting on your desk. Does the rest of the pad raise?
- Use a leveling device and place it on the surface of your WALLHACK glass mousepad. Does the level show that the surface is not flat?
We will need an image or video of one of the above checks to confirm the warp on the surface of your pad.
If you believe your pad is not flat after performing the checks above, please get in touch via our contact form, or email and we will assist!
