My silent skates are still making noise - what's causing it?Updated 6 days ago
WALLHACK Silent Skates utilize a 0.15 mm polyurethane (PU) foam layer to reduce structure-borne vibration transfer between the mouse and mousing surface, resulting in lower acoustic output and smoother glide characteristics during use.
Some level of noise is normal when using aftermarket mouse skates, as friction between the skate material and mousepad surface can generate audible contact noise, particularly on harder surfaces such as resin or glass mousepads.
High-pitched, scraping, or irregular noises may indicate contamination on the mousepad surface, including dust or debris, or excessive wear of the mouse skates. In these cases, cleaning the mousepad surface and inspecting the skates for wear is recommended. If the skates are worn out, as indicated by appearing heavily scratched or sheared, replacing them with a fresh set is recommended.
