How to adjust Rapid Trigger and ActuationUpdated 13 days ago

You can adjust both Rapid Trigger and the Actuation Point directly on the K-001, with no software needed. For per key Rapid Trigger, custom values, and other advanced tuning, please use WALLHACK Terminal.

Where to adjust each setting:

Actuation Point: All keys or specific keys via Keysets (on the keyboard); Global value, custom MM value, and Keysets (in WALLHACK Terminal).

Rapid Trigger: All keys at once (on the keyboard); per key values, split press and release, and continuous mode (in WALLHACK Terminal).

Profiles: Switch between 4 profiles with FN + dial (on the keyboard); full profile editing (in WALLHACK Terminal).

Adjust the Actuation Point for all keys (that are not in a Keyset):

  • Press FN + AP to enter Actuation Point Mode.
  • Rotate the dial to adjust the Actuation Point for all keys. Any keys already assigned to a Keyset keep their own setting. To edit those, see the next section.
  • Press AP to save and exit.

Adjust the Actuation Point for specific Keysets:

  • Keysets let you give a group of keys (for example, WASD) their own Actuation Point.
  • Press FN + AP to enter Actuation Point Mode.
  • Press individual keys to add or remove them from a Keyset. To adjust the Actuation Point of an existing Keyset, press any key in that Keyset to select it.
  • Rotate the dial to adjust the Actuation Point for the selected Keyset.
  • Press AP to save and exit.

Delete a Keyset:

  • Press FN + AP to enter Actuation Point Mode.
  • Select the Keyset by pressing any key in it.
  • Press Backspace to delete the Keyset.
  • Press AP to save and exit.

Adjust Rapid Trigger for all keys:

  • Press FN + RT to enter Rapid Trigger Mode
  • Rotate the dial to adjust Rapid Trigger for all keys
  • Press RT to save and exit

For finer Rapid Trigger control (per key values, separate press and release sensitivity, continuous mode), please use WALLHACK Terminal.

Set a custom Actuation Point value:

While adjusting the Actuation Point on the keyboard, select the MM value to use your custom setting. You can set this value in the WALLHACK Terminal Actuation Point tab, as the MM Actuation Point, alongside the Global Actuation Point (2.00 mm by default).

Tuning from WALLHACK Terminal:

The Terminal runs in your browser. Open terminal.wallhack.com, click CONNECT DEVICE, and select WALLHACK K-001 in the browser’s device prompt. Then:

Actuation Point tab: Set the Global Actuation Point and the custom MM value (0.10 mm to 3.10 mm, in 0.05 mm steps). You can also click keys on the on screen layout to build a Keyset with its own value. RESET ALL restores the defaults.

Rapid Trigger tab: Enable Rapid Trigger, set the global sensitivity (0.10 mm to 3.10 mm, in 0.05 mm steps), optionally split press and release sensitivity, and toggle continuous mode. Click individual keys on the on screen layout to tune Rapid Trigger per key.

Note: The maximum millimeter value for the Rapid Trigger and Actuation Point tabs depends on the switch installed and calibrated in the keyboard.

Profile Selector: Every change applies to the profile you have selected, so you can build different setups per profile.

Live Actuation Readout:

Press FN + Caps Lock to toggle the Live Actuation Readout. It shows the travel of whichever key is currently pressed the furthest, using the K-001’s LEDs. This is useful for finding the Actuation Point that matches how you actually play.

Store your settings in profiles:

The K-001 has 4 on-board profiles. Each stores its own AP and RT values, key mappings, and performance preferences. Hold FN and rotate the dial to switch between them.
