How do I adjust the typing angle on my WALLHACK K-001?Updated 14 days ago

The K-001 supports 3 typing angles: 0° (flat, no riser), 4°, and 7°. Both risers are included in the box, each with its own screw set, and the included screwdriver is all you need.

What is in the riser pack:

  • 1 x 4° riser and 4° screw set (4 screws)
  • 1 x 7° riser and 7° screw set (4 screws)

The two screw sets are different lengths. Always use the set that matches the riser. Using the wrong screws can damage the riser or the case.

Installing a riser:

Unplug the keyboard and place it upside down on a soft, clean surface.

Choose the 4° or 7° riser and its matching screw set.

Line up the riser with the mounting points on the underside of the keyboard.

Fasten the screws with the included screwdriver. Snug is enough. Do not overtighten.

Screws for the risers:

For the 4° riser, use 2 x 7 mm and 2 x 11 mm screws.

For the 7° riser, use 2 x 7 mm and 2 x 15 mm screws.

Going back to flat (0°):

Remove the riser screws, lift off the riser, and store the riser and screws together so the sets do not get mixed up.

Which angle should you pick?

0°: The lowest profile. Popular for low wrist strain when using a wrist rest, or when you prefer a flat, low to desk style.

4°: A subtle lift, close to the feel of a standard keyboard.

7°: The most pronounced angle. It makes the keys easier to read and is comfortable if you type with raised wrists.

There is no right answer. Pick the angle that keeps your wrists neutral. If you feel any strain, try a lower angle.
