How do I take care of my glass mousepad?Updated 7 months ago
So your new mousepad finally came in! Before you start hitting clips, let's run down the basics of properly taking care of your new mousepad.
Cleaning the glass mousepad
Daily
Use a microfiber cloth to remove any dust or debris that might accumulate on the surface
Weekly (or as needed)
Mix a small amount of dish soap or glass cleaner with water in a spray bottle. Spray the solution onto a soft cloth and gently wipe the surface of the mousepad.
Spray directly onto the glass to prevent any liquid from seeping into the edges or corners.
Make sure to dry it before using again.
Things to avoid
[For SkyPAD 3.0 or earlier] Don't use any alcohol-based cleaners. This will damage the paint under the SkyPAD.
Look for glass cleaners that don't leave residue when dried. (Ammonia or Bleach)
Stay away from harsh brushes or abrasive sponges. Stick to cloth or other non-abrasive materials.
WALLHACK Pad on the move!
Ensure you always transport the pad in its original box for optimal protection. For added security, hold the box horizontally to prevent the device from slipping out, especially if the box has sustained any damage.
Remember, while the mousepad tempered glass offers more durability than you might expect, it's always best not to test this unnecessarily.
