What is Rapid Trigger?Updated 13 days ago
Rapid Trigger resets a key the moment you start to release it, instead of waiting for the key to travel back past a fixed reset point. The result is that you can repeat and stop inputs faster than on any traditional keyboard.
The K-001’s WALLHACK KS-TR (Medium) switches are read by Hall Effect sensors that track exactly how far each key is pressed, continuously, across the whole travel. With Rapid Trigger on, the keyboard does not care where the key is. It cares which direction the key is moving:
Release the key even slightly, and it deactivates immediately.
Press back down even slightly, and it activates again immediately.
The activation point follows your finger, instead of waiting at a fixed depth. The sensitivity (how much movement triggers a reset) can be adjusted from a very light 0.10 mm up to 3.2 mm, in 0.05 mm steps.
Note: The default maximum AP value is 3.2 mm for the WALLHACK KS-TR (Medium) switches installed in the keyboard. Other switches will have different maximum values, which are set once the switch is installed and calibrated in WALLHACK Terminal.

You can turn Rapid Trigger on and tune it without any software: press FN + RT and rotate the dial. For per key values, separate press and release sensitivity, and Continuous Rapid Trigger mode, please use WALLHACK Terminal at terminal.wallhack.com.
